Spring 2025 Scholarships
If you received this scholarship in the past year, you must wait one year before you are eligible to apply again.
Los Hermanos Familia, in partnership with Lubbock Christian University, Wayland Baptist University, and Texas Tech Alumni Association, is awarding (12) $1,000 scholarships to disadvantaged students.
- Must be First Generation
- Must be a current college student
- Must be from Lubbock or surrounding cities in Lubbock County
- Must have at least a 3 + GPA
- Must write a 500-word essay about (Please refer to the topic listed below)
- Items Needed:
- Must upload a copy of your resume (Make sure it highlights your awards, extracurricular activities, leadership, and involvement)
- Essay—In 500 words, Explain your need, and the obstacles you have faced, and, if you work, share how it has impacted your college journey. Please tell us how you plan to overcome these obstacles to obtain your college degree.
- Lubbock Christian University scholarships will be available in Spring 2025.
- Wayland Baptist University will be available Spring 2025.
- Texas Tech Alumni Association will be available Spring 2025
Awards will be posted directly to the Student's Account.
